Dr. Preethi Nair was born and raised in Mumbai India. She graduated dental school in India and her experience with kids drew her to pediatric dentistry. After moving to US, she received Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Rutgers University. As a student at Rutgers, she was particularly influenced by the approach and techniques of her professors in pediatric dentistry rekindling her initial love for the branch. For the next six years she practiced as a private dentist working extensively with children and adolescents. As she loved working with children, she decided to go back to school to pursue pediatric dentistry. She completed her Advanced Education training in pediatric dentistry From NYU Langone. Dr. Preethi is committed to provide dental treatment in fun and gentle manner. It is her goal to create a caring dental home for her patients which strives to meet the individual needs of each child/family.
Personal Message - In her free time, she loves to spend time reading, baking, traveling with her daughter and husband. She is an avid artist and loves painting with her daughter.
Mark Boone is a native of a family farm in Nicholasville, Kentucky. His undergraduate degree is from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Upon attending graduate school at the University of Kentucky, he matriculated to graduation from the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry via a U.S. Navy scholarship.
After graduation, Dr. Boone completed a hospital-based residency in Great Lakes Illinois, before serving at Camp Lejeune, N.C. Selected for Pediatric Dentistry residency, he attended Indiana University for training. Desiring more experience, he subsequently served in Japan and Singapore before being asked to lead the Pediatric Dentistry Department at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland.
Upon completion, Dr. Boone attended Orthodontic residency at the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio, Texas. Upon completion, he served as the Orthodontic Department Head and Cleft Team representative at the Naval Medical Center San Diego.
After such, Dr. Boone served as the Dental Department Head and Division Head of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth before being asked to serve in Sigonella, Italy. Upon returning, he served as a representative of the NMCP Cleft and Orthognathic Teams and was Chairman of a patient advocacy group. In April 2021, Dr. Boone retired from the U.S. Navy after serving 25 years.
Associations and Committees - Dr. Boone is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Association of Orthodontists, The American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, The American Dental Education Association, and The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Personal Message - In his leisure time, Dr. Boone enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, restoring vintage time pieces, outdoor activities, and reading.
